Here is what Republicans will be up against all summer long and into election day. This is a perfect example of what Donald Trump has brought to the Republican plate. They will be on the defensive until the final ballot is cast. “A little bit of racism is OK, because it’s better than Hillary Clinton”...they think they can win the presidency, keep the House and Senate using this stupid logic? Donald Trump will be responsible for the unraveling of a major political party and his apologists will get what they deserve.
Paul Ryan declaring Trump’s statement “racist” and then reiterating his support for Trump seems to be what the GOP has determined will be their official response. They’re a circular firing squad.
Note to Republicans, you cannot defend the indefensible!
